The incident occurred on Saturday morning, specifically at approximately 9:25 a.m., prompting an immediate response from RCMP officers, as well as local fire services and Emergency Health Services (EHS).
The crash took place on Highway 103, near Exit 5 in the community of Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia. According to the preliminary reports from the RCMP, a Toyota Matrix was traveling westbound when it veered off the roadway and entered a ditch. The driver involved in the accident has been identified as a 47-year-old woman from Dalhousie Junction, New Brunswick.
