TORONTO — Canadian artists behind some of the past year’s biggest hits will get their turn in the spotlight at tonight’s Grammy Awards bash

TORONTO – Tonight, the Grammy Awards will spotlight Canadian artists who have made a significant impact in the music industry over the past year. Numerous nominees feature homegrown talent, bringing attention to the contributions of Canadian musicians and producers in major categories.

Among the notable nominees is Nathan Ferraro, a Toronto-based producer, who has earned three nominations for his work on Beyoncé’s album "Cowboy Carter." Ferraro’s nominations include two that he shares with Elizabeth Lowell Boland, a Calgary-raised artist, and Megan Bülow, a German-Canadian songwriter. This recognition underscores the collaboration and talent emerging from Canada, especially in the realm of pop music.

Another prominent Canadian in the running is Halifax-raised Henry Walter, who is best known by his stage name, Cirkut. He is nominated in two categories for his contributions to Charli XCX's album "Brat." Cirkut's work continues to resonate within the music scene, reflecting his versatility as a hitmaker.

Serban Ghenea, a renowned producer with an impressive 21 Grammy wins, is also competing for additional accolades. He is nominated for record of the year for his involvement in Taylor Swift’s song "Fortnight." Additionally, Ghenea has credits on both Sabrina Carpenter's album "Short n' Sweet" and Swift’s album "The Tortured Poets Department," for which he is vying for album of the year. His potential to increase his Grammy wins further emphasizes the influence of Canadian producers in the industry.

This year’s Grammy landscape also features Montreal DJ-producer Kaytranada, who has garnered three nominations. Alongside him, Toronto superstar the Weeknd and Vancouver metal outfit Spiritbox each have one nomination, showcasing the diverse genres and talents that Canada has to offer at this prestigious event.

The Grammy ceremony will reveal most winners at a pre-broadcast event, which will be available for streaming on the Grammys website and YouTube starting at 3:30 PM ET. Following this, the 67th Grammy Awards broadcast will air on Citytv and CBS at 8 PM ET, providing viewers with insights into who will take home the coveted trophies.
