As Zelenskyy visited the UAE, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov had just concluded discussions earlier that day with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the president of the UAE. Additonally, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to lead a delegation to Saudi Arabia later this week for direct negotiations with Russian officials regarding the ongoing war, marking a potential shift in U.S. diplomatic strategy.
